'A' series engines have been manufactured in the following sizes:

850, 948, 997, 998, 1098, 1275

in addition three sizes of engine 970, 1071, 1275 have been used in the Cooper S version of the Mini.
These engines were higher performance than the other 'A' series variants and were unique in as much as the bore size was the same 2.7805" in all engines, the capacity being altered by changes in stroke length.

Here is an idea!
