Richard
Monk was born in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey in 1950. He is married
with two children and lives near Cambridge. After 12 years in
telecommunications he found his love of MG's led to a new career,
working for the MG Owners' Club. He joined Roche Bentley, the founder,
whilst the club was in its early stages and now manages it from its
purpose-built HQ at Swavesey, near Cambridge. Attracted to MG from early
childhood and having owned many different models, he now proudly runs a
1933 L1 Magna and his everyday transport, in which he has covered more
than 200,000 miles, is a 1973 MGB GT V8. His hobby is photography which
has given him the opportunity to both drive and photograph the beautiful
cars. |
