Author details: As the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust's Archivist, Anders Ditlev Clausager is superbly qualified to write this book. He has professional and sparetime interest in cars, particularly those of the Nuffield group.
Born and brought up in Denmark, he came to Britain to study automotive design at the Royal College of Art. After a year with Volkswagen in Germany, he joined Austin Rover at Longbridge as a stylist and has remained in Britain ever since. His love for motoring history led him to be invited in 1979 to make his career in this field with the BMIHT.
This is his ninth book. Apart from being the author of two sister volumes, 'Original MGT Series' and 'Original Austin-Healey', he has written other titles on MG, Porsche, Jaguar and the Le Mans 24 Hours. Born in 1949, he lives in Birmingham, the home of the British motor industry.
