Author details: Terry Horler, 45, has loved Sprites and Midgets for 25 years, ever since he bought his first one, a tatty Sprite MkI, to serve as a cheap runabout. Having rarely been without a 'Spridget" since, he now owns a 1960 Sprite MkI and a 1968 Sprite MkIV, the latter his everyday car. Terry's enthusiasm led him in 1983 to link up with a small group of like-minded owners in forming a club dedicated to these cars. He has been General Secretary and Archivist of the Midget & Sprite Club since its birth, and has written informative articles for almost every issue of the club's monthly magazine. Terry works as a toolmaker for Rolls-Royce aero engines, where 28 years' service have given him an excellent technical and engineering background.
