In
1973 he joined 'Classic Cars', the first magazine to specialize in cars
of that description. In 1981 Jonathan Wood left the magazine to
pursue a freelance career, since when he has written over 20 books
and numerous articles on motoring history topics, contributing regularly
to 'Classic Cars'.
Lionel Burrel was the originator of and is now Associate Editor of
'Classic Cars' magazine and was instrumental, together with Roy Berry,
in starting the first full-time diploma course in classic car
restoration in the UK. |
