Author details: John Baggot has a long association with Midget and Sprite racing, having been a competitor from 1977 to 1992 when he raced his own Midget, also taking part in sprints and hill climbs. Nowadays he can be found driving in historic rallies, in a Midget - naturally. Though not currently racing. John still keeps involved, publicising the MGCC Halfords Midget Challenge. He has written numerous magazine articles, many of which were about Spridgets.
